mags: the new girl of the world

jumping into new adventures on the other side of the world and launching a completely autobiographical album is what mags with the bourgeois name margrethe tang has achieved. we met up with the young musician, aged 25, at nørrebro, copenhagen to learn more about the promising danish electro pop artist, who is using music to understand herself and the world around her.

the high-summer/pre-autumn by minimum is inspired by escaping the confines of everyday reality. the collection builds on an adventurous story, dressing you in the bleached and burnt colours to be found in the deep, warm and sandy desert.

frédéric forest

french artist frédéric forest started drawing art pieces before he could write his own name. his, now famous, minimalistic drawings are solely done with thin black pen lines, just enough to picture the motive. with his subtle lines, he depicts the industrial environment, architecture and human interaction at aarhus harbor in an exclusive collaboration with minimum.

where the wind takes me

when the wind of change blows, some people build walls. others build windmills. and when the danish winds refuse to stop blowing because, well, that’s the climate up here, some people bring out their kitesurfing equipment and make the most of it.

the young man and the sea

jakob clausen is, at 25 years old, already a skilled fishmonger. he’s the owner and manager of the aarhus harbour mainstay “clausens fiskehandel”, a business that’s been in the family for five generations and in the city for 130 years. here, jakob talks us through a day in life on the harbour.
